Information About Chesham



Hereford FC's game this coming Saturday is away at Chesham.

Below is some information for supporters going to the game taken from the Chesham OS.

Admission:

Adults - £10, Concessions (over 65s, students with ID) - £8, Under 18s - £3, U12s free when accompanied by an adult or concession otherwise £3.
Programme £2.50. Free Parking.

Travel:

Chesham United from M40
Take J2 on the roundabout off the motorway, head toward Beaconsfield on the short dual carriageway take the first exit off the next roundabout. Get in to the right hand lane and take the right exit taking the A335 for about 3 miles. As you approach the next roundabout take the right hand side lane for the second exit. Take a left turn at the following roundabout and right at the front of Tesco store. Take a left turn at the next rounabout. As you follow up the road under the next bridge, go straight over the next mini roundabout, then right at the roundabout in front of Dr Challoners School, then left at the next mini roundabout. Go straight over the next two mini roundabouts until you arrive at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, Chesham United is on the first exit at a tight angle.

Take J8/9 A404 which will lead you to the M40, take the M40 London exit, then follow the directions above.


By Train
Chesham is part of the London Underground network and is at the far west of the Metropolitan Line. Walk out of the station and head down Station Road towards the High Street. Turn left and walk through the town until you reach a pedestrian crossing (opposite the Red Lion). Cross the road and bear left by the pub then continue walking until you pass two petrol stations which are opposite each other. At the next roundabout the third exit takes you into Chesham United's ground. The walk from the station takes 5-10 minutes.

The car park at The Meadow is accessed via the main entrance drive and parking is free. Players, officials and sponsors have their own allocated area. Please advise the club in advance if you are bringing coaches so that space can be reserved. There is limited on-street parking in the immediate vicinity of the ground - when using this please respect our neighbours and avoid blocking entrances.
If additional space is needed there is alternate free parking on the gravel hardstanding area on The Moor (NB height restricted entry, cars only) and payable parking in the town car parks, see the map below. These are all within about 5-10 minutes normal walking distance of the ground.
