Hereford defender Ryan Green wasn't in the matchday squad at Chesham yesterday afternoon.
"He received a heavy blow to the chest on Tuesday," said Beadle.
"Obviously being on his chest and his breathing we rested him today.
"Hopefully he'll be okay for Boxing Day at Merthyr."
Beadle also revealed that he had not yet been able to get any extension to the loan of Dara O'Shea from West Bromwich. The youngster's loan ends after the Redditch game on New Years Day.
