Royston Town have been expelled from the Southern League cup after fielding an ineligible player in their second round victory over Kempston Rovers. The premier division side have been fined and their opponents reinstated in the competition.

Former Bull Jarrod Bowen's goal count reached double figures at the weekend against Bristol City. According to the Tigers' website, Bowen has averaged a goal every 167 minutes after scoring ten goals in 19 appearances.

Bristol City development player Mo Baghdadi has extended his loan spell with Dorchester Town for a further month. The 21-year old winger was Man of the Match in their 4-1 victory over Kettering Town two weeks ago.

Next Monday Slough Town host Rochdale in the FA Cup and the game is a sell out for home fans. The match at Arbour Park will be shown live on BT Sport.

Former Premier League goalkeeper Richard Lee came out of retirement to play for Dunstable Town on Tuesday. With loanee keeper Nick Hayes called up to a England youth training camp, the club couldn't afford to bring in a new keeper on an emergency loan and extend Hayes' stay, so Lee stepped up. Dunstable lost the game at Bishop's Stortford 4-1.
