Hereford Progress in County Cup

Hereford beat Westfields 2-1 at allpay.park this evening, with the hosts reduced to ten-men just before the final whistle.

The game was goalless at the break, but in the second half, debutant Jamie Bird's corner was redirected into his own net by Westfields' keeper Kieron Blackburn, with Lance Smith adding a second.

Dan Polan then pulled a goal back for 'Fields, before captain Phil Glover was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card.
