John Mills Scoring Hereford's Third Goal Last Saturday

Hereford manager Peter Beadle has said that John Mills, who came off the bench along with Jamie Molyneux at Kings Langley last Saturday, 'was exceptional'.

Supporters both at the game and elsewhere were surprised he didn't start.

Mills scored the third of Hereford's three goals which came in quick succession late in the game.

"People forget that John didn't play much after Christmas when we were in the Midland League, but we were still winning games," Beadle told the Hereford Times.

"There's a part of a game that he needs to work on and he can look lost in games sometimes.
 
"But he showed how professional he is when he came on because I thought he was exceptional.
 
"He scored to put us 3-2 up and has put himself in contention for Tuesday."
