Former Hereford United striker Richard Brodie had added Skelmersdale United to the list of clubs he has played for.

The 30 year old striker joins the Evostick Division One North  club after leaving Southport.

He is close to making 500 senior appearances during his career and has scored 162 goals to date.

Skelmersdale is believed to be his 15th club he has turned out for.

Brodie joined Hereford United on loan from Gateshead in September 2013. Martin Foyle was manager at the time.

He made eight appearances scoring just one goal.

Meanwhile another former Hereford United player is also on the move.

Defender Joe Heath has teamed up with Welsh League side Connah's Quay Nomads.

He joined Hereford in November 2010 initially on loan from Exeter.
