The Didcot Town vice-chairman, Mr Chalk, has spoken to the Oxford Mail about crowd trouble which led to the game against Hereford being abandoned in the 87th minute.
"It was a regrettable incident and the club does not want to comment in detail until it has had an investigation.
"There will be a meeting at the club tomorrow night where we will review footage and we will make sure that every protocol was followed correctly to make sure everyone was safe.
"As far as I am aware no one was hurt, which is a blessing."
Didcot will send a report on the incident to the Southern League tomorrow.
"The league will decide what will happen regarding the fixture - Didcot Town FC would be quite happy to play the fixture again - Hereford FC are a fantastic club."
Meanwhile the Didcot manager Andy Ballard has confirmed the referee called off the game.
"I do have to commend the referee, he made a fantastic decision to call the game off," he said as reported by the BBC.
"He couldn't guarantee the safety of the players, the supporters and everybody in the ground, so he made a very tough call, but I think it's the right one."
