After beating Westfields 4-2 on penalties in last night's County Cup semi final, Lads Club have received confirmation this morning on funding from the Football Foundation.
This is from the Herefordshire FA:
The HFA are delighted to have received confirmation this morning that one of our current projects, which supports Hereford Lads Club has received funding from the Football Foundation to build a new footpath, covered stand and player walkway at the County Ground.
These works are needed in order for the club to meet ground grading requirements.
The process began early this season, following a meeting between the HFA and Lads Club, since then the HFA have arranged for a meeting with the West Midlands League who have outlined what works were needed. Following the specifications being received, Football Grant Writer Dan Chance proceeded to write the application for funding and helped source quotes for the works. Work has already begun in the last few weeks and has progressed well.
The HFA have been delighted to support Hereford Lads Club during this process and will look to further support all clubs within the county with future projects.
If you would like advice around the support we can provide for your club, please contact Dan.Chance@HerefordshireFA.com.
