Club Appeal For Donations of Warm Clothing

This is from the official site:

Hereford FC are appealing for donations of any spare warm weather clothing or sleeping bags that supporters may have so that the club can distribute to local homeless people around Herefordshire this Winter.

Directors and staff from Hereford FC will be opening a soup kitchen in Radford’s Bar on Christmas Day evening, feeding those who are in need this festive period.

Hereford FC Events Manager James Smith said “as a community club we realise that we have to try and offer help to as wide and varied cross section of the community as we can. By working with local charity Open Door, we have approached the local homeless community with an offer of a warm meal and shelter on Christmas Day evening, but we’d also like to be able to hand out some warm clothing to those who need as well.

“If anyone has any old jumpers, coats, hats, scarves or gloves lying around that they’d like to donate then they can drop them off at the main Club Reception throughout December. Any unused clothing will be donated to local charities.”
