Rivers Departs Cirencester

Ex-Hereford keeper Harvey Rivers has left Cirencester Town, after making 23 appearances for the club this season.

But Centurions boss Charlie Griffin has signed Raajan Gill, after he impressed in a midweek friendly with Forest Green.

"Harvey is a very nice lad and totally professional," said Griffin in an interview with with the Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard.

"He always gave 100 per cent and I am sure he will do very well in the future."

Rivers played in Hereford FC's first ever game back in July 2015, but left the club 11 months later in search of more regular first team football.

He had been dual-registered with Swindon Supermarine during the second half of the season after the arrival of Martin Horsell.
