Westfields FC continue to fly the flag for Herefordshire football in the FA Cup, winning 2-1 against Leiston FC, who were top of the Ryman League Premier Division.
The game was goalless at half-time but Westfields took the lead when captain Phil Glover glanced a header into the corner of the net. The visitors equalised through Tom Winter but it was Fields' who won it with moments remaining in normal time, Richard Greaves slamming the ball home.
741 fans were in attendance at Allpay Park as Westfields progress into the first round, where they will be joined by the likes of Sheffield United, Bolton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic to name but a few.
Srdic Grant, Dylan Bonella, Craig Jones and Aidan Thomas all started for the Fields, whilst Ben Miller made a sub appearance.
