We Were Robbed Said Paulton Manager

In his post match interview Paulton manager Tony Ricketts was unhappy with the referee, Greg Rollason, decision to award a throw in to Hereford after Paulton had taken too long to take it.

"We were robbed," said a deflated Ricketts. "I even went to shake the ref's hand at the end of the game and he refused, which was unbelievable.

"Yes, the ref had been warning our boys about wasting time which I accept. But you surely book Conor for timewasting; you don't suddenly give the ball to the other team to take the throw.

"It was a difficult enough game for us as it was, a real backs-to-the-wall one but we did okay, playing them on the counter attack. And our keeper only had three saves to make. After the 6-1 drubbing at the weekend the lads responded magnificently and didn't deserve that."
