Another Tough Game At Winchester This Weekend

Peter Beadle With Steve Jenkins Talking to The Squad After The Tie
It's back to League action this weekend with a game at Winchester.

"Another tough game," said Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle.

"They did quite well last year. They've had a change of manager early in pre-season.

"Their results haven't been too bad.

"But it will be a tough game and a fairly long trip.

"But we'll be ready and prepared and hopefully we'll get the walking wounded ready, patch them up and get a few more out on the pitch.

"Jamie Cuss with his knee. I think he's going to go for a scan, hopefully this week, just to make sure there's nothing sinister going on.

"Jamie Willets had a really nasty bruised foot from Saturday and Chris Barker with his calf. Obviously it might have been the surface I don't know but his calf was sore. So all three were unavailable so that left us a bit bare but we've got enough players in the squad at the minute, and we've got enough quality in the squad at the minute and we've proved that again tonight."

New signing Jake Sinclair, pictured above, had a couple of minutes on the pitch right at the end of the tie.

"I thought there was longer left than there was. If I'd have known that I probably wouldn't have done it to him.

"Again he came on and made a great block at the end there so he's shown his appetite to do well. Like I said as the weeks go by he'll get more game time.

"He wants an opportunity to play, he's a fantastic talent and hopefully he'll get the opportunity here soon and he'll kick on from here."
