Hereford's First Home League Match Of The Season

Hereford will play their first home match of their Southern League South and West season against Mangotsfield this evening at Edgar Street kick off 7.45pm.

Manager Peter Beadle will have new signing Tristan Plummer available and hopefully Chris Parry as long as his international transfer has come through.

However Ryan Green is not expected to be ready to play just yet as he recovers from keyhole surgery on his knee.

How many changes, if any, Beadle makes from the team that started at AFC Totton remains to be seen. As the manager said after that game he had a strong bench available and when, for example, new signing Jamie Edge failed to get on the pitch, it showed.

Meanwhile Mangotsfield won their first game against Bideford 2-1. Their scorers were Hogg and Bath. How much can be read into that result is debatable especially as Bideford lost their first home game last night when they were beaten 3-0 by Tiverton Town.

Tickets for this evening's game can be purchased from the club from 10am this morning also online.

Please note that the new ticket booths will be in operation this evening for purchase and collection of tickets.

Prices have risen £1 for seats but standing remains the same.

Adults £9/£8

Under 5's Free

Season tickets can be purchased today until 7pm.

Junior Bulls memberships can be collected from the Junior Bull stand from 6.30pm.

Finally there is a 'new look' match programme.
