Bridgwater Town are the visitors to Edgar Street for Hereford's second home game in the Southern League South and West.
Hereford go into the game with six points from their first two games but manager Peter Beadle was far from happy with his side's overall performance in either match.
"We've been poor in two games and we've got away with it," he said.
Since Tuesday midfielder Anthony Robbins has been released. How soon another new face is signed remains to be seen.
But there is little doubt that another winger and defender, as cover for captain Joel Edwards, are needed.
And the debate continues about whether striker John Mills should be in the starting eleven.
It wasn't long after he came on as a second half substitute on Tuesday evening that he scored. It was noticable that straight afterwards he looked towards the bench as if to say I've come on and I've scored, what more can I do.
Ryan Green is expected to be in contention for a start, he might replace Chris Barker who has featured in every game to date but was a slight doubt last Tuesday.
Bridgwater have had a slow start with only one point on the board from their first two games, losing 1-0 to North Leigh on the opening day, before drawing 2-2 with Larkhall on Tuesday evening.
Tickets for the game can be purchased in advance at Edgar Street or through the club website. As usual they will also be available on the day.
