Barnstaple Manager Hopes For Good Support

Barnstaple manager Barry Yeo is hopeful that supporters will get behind his team for the visit of Hereford on Saturday.

"I would hope that nearly everyone who is available to come to the game on Saturday would come," said Yeo as reported by the North Devon Journal.

"If we could get 800-plus it would be a great feat for the club. It would be nice for the lads to get that sort of support as they (Hereford) will have a great following.

"I want the lads to realise how far they have come, they deserve these kind of games for what they have done and I hope they enjoy it.

"We are expecting them to bring about 500 (fans) which is a credit to them"We want to do our best by making it a good day for them, but we have a job to do on the pitch.

"We will do some work on nullifying their threat and on being positive going forward.

"I can't go back (in history) and say how big the game is, but Hereford coming is something we could have only dreamed of a few years ago.

"They are on a great run already, which is the way it was always going to be."
