Beadle Can't Wait For Everyone To Be Available

Hereford FC had several players unavailable yesterday and manager Peter Beadle can't wait for everyone to back. During his post match interview he was asked how soon Ryan Green would be fit.

"He's probably two weeks may be. He's not training as such with the team. He's done a bit more today and so far had no reaction to it.

"He'll train next week but obviously we've got to be careful with him because he hasn't done any pre-season really.

"We want to try and do some sort of eleven v eleven for him on Tuesday and Thursday just to get him some game time and we'll just see how he goes from there."

Jimmy Oates and Jamie Willets were both missing yesterday.

"Jimmy had a bit of a slight groin that's why he wasn't risked today but again he did some work today and said no reaction so hopefully he should be fine for Saturday.

"Jamie Willets comes back from holiday today or tomorrow so he will be available.

"Chris (Parry) comes back off holiday because he went away for a short weekend so he'll be available as long as we get clearance through for him.

"So that paints a different picture with those three back and with Ryan not far off as well.

"But I can't wait for them to be ready because there might be sometime in the season when they may not be available again then we need to be better than that."

Looking back at the game.

"I thought Merthyr were better than us today in all areas of the pitch. I don't think we tested them as much as they tested us.

"Okay take away the two goals I don't think they had too many great chances other than that. But just in their general play they were sharper."

The League Programme starts next Saturday.

"We're going into a League which I know a little bit about. Steve knows lot about.

"You would like to think we are ready but today we've taken a bit of a backwards step. But it's pre-season, there are no points on the board for today.

"The real business starts next week."
