UITC Ask For Continued Support

The following letter has been sent out to supporters who sponsored advertising boards at Victoria Park last season.

With permission from UITC, BN is pleased to publish the letter in the hope that more supporters might consider helping UITC

On behalf of United in the Community (UITC), we would like to thank you for your very generous support in the past year with the sponsorship of an advertising board  at Victoria Park. Without support from people such as yourself and local companies we would not have been able to continue the varied programme of football and education activities that we have offered young people throughout Herefordshire.

Your support together with the hard graft and effort of volunteers and parents alike has ensured we continue to provide coaching provision for young people of all abilities and backgrounds. Many have commented that we have provided an experience on a par with clubs significantly further up the football pyramid including the Football League. Significant personal sacrifices have been made and we cannot thank enough those individuals who have put themselves out in the name of UITC and the Hereford FC pathway. The results have been terrific:
  • Record academic success rate for Under 18s Scholarship programme, 100%% of students completing the BTEC course gaining a recognised qualification.
  • Significant progression across all Academy age groups including National Cup Success.
  • 5 players selected for the Hereford FC squad with two U16 payers signing first team contracts for 2016/7 season
  • New schools work and coaching for young offenders as part of a partnership with local charity Brightstripe
  • New and improved facilities at our Victoria Park clubhouse.
  • Significant investment in ground maintenance at Victoria Park and Belmont Abbey
  • In 2015/6 our team included 2 UEFA ‘A’ License Coaches and 3 UEFA ‘B’ License coaches)
To help underpin our ambitions to develop the Player Pathway and widen our provision to as many young people as possible of all abilities across the County, we would be delighted if you would renew your advertising board for the coming season.

Sincere thanks again for your generous support to date.
