I'm Enjoying My Football At Hereford Said Purdie

Hereford's Rob Purdie has told BBC Midlands Today that he is happy playing his football for the first time for six years.

Purdie was originally signed by Graham Turner in 2002 and despite spells way from Edgar Street he says he's pleased to be playing there again.

"It's the first time in six or seven years that I've enjoyed my football," said Purdie.

"That's down to the dressing room, the support and how well we are doing.

"I can't think of a better way to finish my career than being here in front of these fans and just working hard to try and get them back where they really belong."

Also interviewed was Hereford chairman Jon Hale.

Interviewer Dan Pallet said that 'the club have spent £300,000 transforming the ground so that tomorrow they can host almost 5,000 supporters and dream of a Wembley final'.

"It is emotional," said Hale.

"We all feel emotional about it and I say we I mean the supporter base.

"We had nothing. Twelve months ago we had absolutely nothing," said Hale.
