Two reformed clubs playing each other in the semi-final of the FA Vase is 'mouth-watering' according to Hereford chairman Jon Hale.
Both Salisbury and Hereford were both thrown out of the Conference because of debt problems.
“A lot of people probably wanted the game as the final because of what has happened to both clubs over the past 12 months, but I think it’s a fantastic semi-final draw.
“I’m looking forward to it and am very excited because it is sure to be a great atmosphere.”
Manager Peter Beadle has also commented.
"I’m not disappointed or unhappy because you’re going to get a tough game in the semi-final of any competition,” he said.
“We will make sure that we prepare for both games and try and put on a good performance.
“They are doing a bit better than us in that they are clear in their league, whereas we could be second if teams win their games in hand, but it will be two fantastic games.
“But whatever happens in the games, it will be a massive celebration for both clubs because of where they have come from.”
