Hereford FC vice-chairman Chris Williams gave his thoughts on the day at Salisbury to BN.
"A fabulous day, they've looked after us really well here," said Williams.
"A good match, a game of two halves really.
"They bossed it first half, I thought we were going to struggle when they went one up, but we pulled it back and the hard work by the team was fantastic.
"I think (a talking to at half time) that's part of it but I also think they were playing against an opposition who had given it all in the first half.
"To come out and play the way they did, Symons he's worked like a horse today, I've never seen anybody like it. Fantastic the way he went about his work.
"Such an emotional day. Ninety years and the club hasn't made it and now in the first year of existance we've got there. It's fabulous isn't it."
Asked how many might go to Wembley, Williams felt it would be more than went to Leicester for the Conference final in 2006.
"It could be double that.
"The story that is now this football club it's a fairy tale and I'm definitely going to be there."
Williams isn't always seen at away games.
"I don't do so many away games but I'm here today. I thought I'd bring a bit of luck to it!
"This is just reward for the fans, the fans saved this club and I think this is just reward for them."
