Ahead of tomorrow's FA Vase game at Edgar Street, Camberley manager Dan Turkington spoke to Get Surrey.
"The boys are pumped up and raring to go,” said Turkington.
“Not
only is it the biggest game that any of us players have ever been
involved in, it’s also a massive game for the club and we can’t wait to
get going.
“We are certainly not going to Hereford just to make up the numbers. We are not arrogant but we are confident – we are going there to get something out of it.
“We’ve had two separate reports on Hereford and both are very similar so we know what we are dealing with and have a plan in place to try and execute that.
“Our biggest job this week is to get the players mentally prepared for what will be a very different experience for them. We have to play the game, not the occasion and we have to block out the distractions of the crowd as much as possible.
“But we have players for the big occasion and some very mentally-tough characters in our dressing room, that side of it doesn’t worry me.”
Two Camberley regulars may miss the game, Dean Greenwood (back) and Carl Garstang (ankle). However goalkeeper Craig Bradshaw and big striker Matt Bunyan are expected to overcome knocks.
Meanwhile Camberley still have some of their allocation of 400 tickets available.
