The Run Had To End At Some Point Said Beadle

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle give several interviews after yesterday 1-1 draw with Alvechurch including one with the Non-League Paper.

"We played well but it didn't quite go our way," said Beadle.

"We know we can play better than we did. It was one of those days and we're disappointed not to have extended our winning run but it wasn't all about that.

"The run always had to end at some point. It wasn't a distraction because we always look to win every game. Unfortunately we didn't manage it today.

"We are exactly where we were at the beginning of play. We are still twelve points ahead. It's a better result for us than it is for them. They've got the games in hand and we've still got to go there and play them.

"Alvechurch are on a good run like us and they will be capable of keeping that going. We just need to worry about what we are doing, keeping positive and trying to win."

Over 4000 watched the game.

"It's incredible support even more when you consider it's for a fixture at step five. It's great to have a crowd of that size behind you."
