Southern League side Wimborne Town are set to slash their playing budget to zero after the club's new owners found a debt pile totalling six figures. The South & West strugglers appointed Harry Redknapp as a Director last week, but investigations into the finances revealed an ever growing black hole. The owners have said the club could fold if they cannot find money to bridge the gap.
The National League has voted in favour of seeking FA approval to allow 3G pitches into the top flight of the competition next season. The vote of clubs comes after changes to the grant funding for 3G pitches that excluded those currently allowed in the second tier this season.
