HMRC have agreed to compensate Welsh Premier League side, The New Saints, after a petition for outstanding PAYE was dropped.
The petition was issued last Friday for £6000 but the debt had already been paid the High Court was told earlier today.
"The club confirms that there was no case and the listing was
therefore dismissed by the court due to an error by the petitioners,
HMRC, who have also agreed to cover all of the club's costs," said a New Saints spokesman.
"They will be publishing a statement in the London Gazette in due course."
