The news that Westons Cider have agreed a deal to sponsor the stand at Edgar Street that runs alongside the A49 is another sign that business is prepared to back football in Herefordshire.
"We are really pleased to have sorted this deal with Westons Cider," Ammonds told BBC Hereford and Worcester last week.
"I think for most Hereford fans that stand has always been the Len Weston stand and always will be.
"So to actually be able to put it back into the family business and have it rebranded in time for the Boxing game against Westfields is really, really good.
"It is great to have a really successful local company supporting us and on board with us.
"It's really pleasing that they have the confidence in us that they are willing to support us and offer us support moving forward and there will be other things we can do with them around prizes, I think they willing to help us out with any draws and raffles and any additional events we might have.
"Across the board we've had great support from local businesses. They are still coming forward to offer us support us and offer us sponsorship moving forward."
Interviewer Trevor Owens suggested that given 'where we are it should be a cider company.'
"Absolutely 100%, I couldn't possibly say on this interview that I'm actually a lager drinker but certainly then if I'm going to drink a cider then Westons is my cider of choice."
