Chester's chairman has resigned with immediate effect, citing outside work pressures. Grenville Millington, a former player for Chester City with over 300 appearances, became chairman 14 months ago but kept on working full time in addition to the role. Vice Chairman Jim Keegan will take up the reins temporarily until a board meeting later in the month.
