Winger Adam Page is expected to have a lengthy spell out of the Hereford FC squad said manager Peter Beadle.
Taking to BN after this afternoon's game at Lye, Beadle explained the problem.
"Page has got a stressed fracture of his foot which he played with for a month before he found out, before he mentioned it really," said Beadle.
"The diagnosis is that either he has surgery which will mean he will need 18 weeks for recovery or he has no surgery which means he needs 24 weeks for recovery.
"So his season is done.
"He came to training on Thursday, he is obviously bitterly disappointed, but injuries are part and parcel of the game.
"We wish him every success in getting back quickly and with no problems and hopefully we'll see him back at Edgar Street, may be not this season but who knows maybe for next season."
