AFC Telford United are to face Companies Court on Monday morning to defend a winding up petition.
The club say they have received no warning of the move, and no petition seems to have been posted in the London Gazette, but they believe the matter is from an October HMRC debt that they claim to have paid at the time.
The club say they only found out after the Court had closed for the weekend, and are unable to do anything about it until Monday morning. The case is due to be heard from 10.30am, with the club 30th on the list of companies to face the Court.
