Vase Draw Tomorrow Lunchtime

The draw for the First Round of the FA Vase is due to be published on the FA website around Noon tomorrow.

Along with the Bulls progressing through the Second Qualifying Round, only Westfields of the local sides have made the cut. They beat MFL Division 1 side Littleton 3-2, while Wellington, Bromyard, and Malvern Town dipped out. Welly lost 4-0 at home to Sporting Khalsa, Bromyard were beaten 6-0 at Hinckley, while Malvern lost to Ellesmere Rangers.

Other local-ish sides of note into the First Round include Alvechurch, Bromsgrove Sporting, and AFC Bridgnorth. Salisbury are also though after beating Folland Sports 4-1.

29 sides enter the competition at the First Round stage, joining the 169 winners from the last round. These clubs finished in the top 4 of their Step 5 leagues last season but didn't gain promotion.

A further 29 clubs, who made it to the Fourth Round in last season's competition, come in at the Second Round. Included in this batch are reigning champions North Shields, and MFL clubs Heanor Town, Walsall Wood, and Brocton.

The First Round is due to be played on October 31st.
