Former Bull Scott Goodwin is the new manager of Gresley FC in the Northern Premier League. The 37 year old, who spent the 2001/2 season at Edgar Street, has already had managerial experience at four different clubs. He will be assisted by current assistant manager Jamie Barrett and veteran striker Gary Ricketts with the side eighth in the current table.

Former Hereford United manager Jon Taylor now with Bedford has signed Bilal Yafai who was in his squad at Edgar Street last season. Having failed to tempt John Mills to Steel Park, Corby have signed Heanor Town forward Andre Johnson instead. The 20 year old former Derby trainee had scored eight times in 13 games for the Lions this term including a hat-trick against Dunkirk in midweek.

Northampton's Supporters Trust has issued a further statement following their meeting with the local Council. It has clarified that just £39,000 is owed in repayments so far on the loan made to the football club, but it has been told further payments are 'uncertain'. The Council confirmed the club owes more than £12million overall according to its last set of accounts, and that the Council had been speaking to the Police about the matter.
