Although he was on the Hereford FC bench at Bardon Hill this afternoon, it's expected that defender Sam Gwynne will return to Westfields early next week.
It may not be all one way traffic as Hereford FC have confirmed they have made a seven day notice of approach for Westfield's Anthony Robbins.
"Hereford FC put in their request on Thursday Morning," said Martin Watson, Hereford FC football secretary.
"And Westfields came back to us the following day and put a seven day in for Sam Gwynne."
In his press interview manager Peter Beadle was asked about the possible move of Gwynne and Robbins.
"We feel that the player we've put seven days in for will help us. He's a different player to what we've got already.
"We'll have discussions next week and if it's something he wants to do then hopefully we can bring him in.
"As for Sam, I know that Sam wants to play but Sam isn't available during the week for training and that's hard for us because we've got lads that come and train twice a week and they work hard.
"Having someone to come who doesn't train at all and be involved is difficult.
"I don't want to see him go but I spoke to him today about it and told him to ring them straight away and speak to Sean (Edwards) and if Sean can offer him a game every week and that's what he wants then that's up to Sam.
"We'll wish him all the best when he goes across but I'd like him to stay, he's a good lad and he's a good player.
"Obviously if we have any injuries like we've had today he's come and sat on the bench.
"But if that is the case and he moves on, he moves on. That's what happens a lot in this league."
