As matters stand at present Alvechurch have the best record in the Midland Premier League with nine wins from ten starts.
Currently they are in second place in the table but have played three games less than leaders Hereford FC

Last Saturday Alvechurch defeated Dunkirk 4-0. But manager Ian Long was cautious with his post-match comments.
"I actually don't think we played all that well.
"Maybe it's because Dunkirk are struggling a bit and we lowered our standards.
"But we managed to get the goals we needed but against a better side we may have lost.
"We've made a good start but apart from Highgate we have not played anyone in the top half so it's hard to judge us yet."
Hereford FC will have to wait until January 23rd before they play Alvechurch at Edgar Street. The return game is set for Bank Holiday Monday March 28th.
