Speculation that a club had put in a seven day approach for striker John Mills is incorrect according to Hereford FC.

'No approach for Mills from any club', said a spokesperson.

Meanwhile former Hereford United captain Ian Wright's son Luke was the number five for Walsall Wood last night.

He was formerly with the Wolves youth team where they're played him in central midfield rather than his preferred central defender role.

Finally Lee Evans who kept goal for Wood may the same Lee Evans who was in the Hereford United squad in the 2001/2 season.
