It's Tight At The Top

Although Hereford FC are currently top of the Midland Premier League, they have played several more games than the teams around them.

All the top five teams have games this evening except Heanor Town who play tomorrow evening.

Peter Beadle will have most of his squad to call on for the game at Walsall Wood, however Rob Purdie remains side-lined.

Both Aaron Birch and Sol Wheatley had knocks on Saturday but should be available.

"No games are easy for us," said Beadle.

"Walsall Wood will be out to put a halt to the run we are on at the moment and we've got to go there hopefully full of confidence.

"We'll make a few adjustments to the way we started the game (on Saturday) and hopefully we'll put on a performance and get the right result.

"But it's going to be a tough game, we know that."
