Hereford FC's commercial manager Chris Ammonds looked quite relieved that virtually had gone according to plan at Edgar Street this afternoon.
"A really great day and even the footballers did the business for us," Ammonds told BN.
"They run on the field and then it's out of our hands really for those of us behing the scenes.
"Really good performance on probably a nervous day for many of them as well.
"I'm disappointed as probably Beads is as well with the concession but then Mills popping up to make it 4-1 sent us all home with that memory rather than the concession."
It's Stourport on Tuesday.
"It's all about the football now, less of the building projects, less of the getting ready to play. We can spend more time as football fans now. Being a football fan was unleashed in many of us today."
It was suggested that Ken, Jamie and Chris will be redundant on Monday.
"We'll have nothing to do I'm sure, the phone won't ring, there will be no post to deal with, there'll be no one wanting to do anything!
"We might get a glimse of normality at this football club over the next few days but I expect it will take us most of next week to catch up with everything on our to do list which we haven't achieved yet.
"At least we can put a smile on our faces for the rest of the weekend."
Today's attendance was 4060, more than at a couple of League One matches.
"We thought that at some point the interest might platter out a little bit but even this week it has built and built. Everyone was thinking could we make the 4000, could we get there. It's fantastic.
"Let's be honest we all know in reality we are not a Midland League club but we are where we are and we've got to deal with it and it's fantastic that even at that level there is that interest."
