The Ryman League have postponed Farnborough's first two matches as the arguments over their financial position continue. The league are reported to have asked for a £30,000 bond from the club to enable it to compete this season, with a league spokesman saying they have doubts over their ability to pay off their existing CVA.

Halifax say they have been told they will have to pay to film Saturday's season opener at Boreham Wood. The club can film it free of charge for their own use, but the National League newcomers will charge if it is shown publicly. Sporting Khalsa boss Ian Rowe will miss their season opener at home to Coleshill Town as he has to attend the wedding of his Cousin. Rowe plans to deliver his team talk, leaving before kick-off to go to Walsall.

Walsall Wood boss Mark Swann has targeted a top three spot for his side this season after finishing fourth in the MFL Premier last season. Swann's side take on Bardon Hill tomorrow with Swann admitting his side is still missing a goalscorer, and having lost the services of several central defenders over the summer.
