Man Of The Match Aaron Birch With John Mills Who Scored A Hat-Trick

20 year old midfielder Aaron Birch was impressed with the 4060 gate at Edgar Street last Saturday for Hereford FC's opening Midland League game.

"The hype for this game was massive, I've never played in front of so many, it was surreal," Birch told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"The crowd are going to help us win this league.

"We're going to have to keep playing well to keep the crowd coming, it works hand-in-hand.

"I think the players will be loyal - I can't see why anyone would want to leave with the potential that's here and the crowds."
