Speculation that Hereford FC's first league game will be at Edgar Street continues.
It's been fueled by the fact that a 2,000 plus gate is expected, which will probably be higher than the rest of the fixtures in the Midland League put together.
"We are pushing quite strongly for a steer on where we are going to be on August 8th, the first day of the season," said Hereford FC's Chris Ammonds.
"There is speculation. You would like to think that speculation is correct because there are supporters looking to book flights and accomodation and all sorts of things.
"We have spoken to the Midland Football League and advised them that it would be helpful to give us notice for that game and we think they understand our position and we are slightly different.
"Fingers crossed in the next couple of weeks we will be able to confirm whether we are at home on August 8th."
