Work on the pitch has already started at Edgar Street with one eye on the new season.
Pitch contractors Highground were onsite earlier in the week to take the top layer off the pitch.

All this was happening while a large group of dedicated volunteers helped to tidy up the stadium, whilst even the PA was tested for an hour or so.
More volunteers were also working on the plumbing and measuring up for the replacement of doors and redecoration in the various rooms in the main stand.
