Kidderminster boss Gary Whild says his players won't go on strike despite the money problems at Aggborough. The players met with Director John Davies yesterday after asking for a meeting and are due to meet the club's benefactors today for further assurances that their wages will be met. 

Former Salisbury chairman William Harrison-Allen has received an apology and had his costs paid after suing a local paper after it printed comments from a player. The Salisbury Journal's owners Newsquest Media admitted the claim by the player that Harrison-Allen had 'been bankrupt a few times' were false and that they should have researched the claim before printing it.

Telford were relegated from the Conference on Saturday after a 1-1 draw with Kidderminster meant they could not save their status. Dartford will join them if they lose at home to leaders Barnet on Monday and Alfreton can take at least a point from their game with Grimsby. Nuneaton and Welling are also in the bottom four, six points adrift of safety with four games left.

Merthyr will lift the Southern League South & West title if they take at least a point from their home game with strugglers Bishops Cleeve on Monday. The Martyrs beat Mangotsfield 4-0 on Saturday with ex-Bull Guillem Bauza netting twice.
