12 months ago Peter Beadle was put in caretaker charge of the Bulls.
With Martin Foyle having left the managers job on March 19th, Beadle was put in charge a day later. Two days afterwards the Bulls travelled to Barnet for a 2-0 loss with Jarrod Bowen making his first team debut.
Two further losses at home made way for a 1-0 win at Welling, with teenage Bowen starting all four games and Billy Murphy also making his first full appearance.
Another pair of losses, both by a single goal, left the Bulls in a desperate state. But a final home match win over Alfreton in front of 2,445 - with Bowen scoring the eventual winner - set up a win or bust match at Aldershot.
800 Bulls travelled down to Hampshire and a 88th minute strike from Michael Rankine sent the Bulls fans - and team - home to the Shire to drink the town dry in celebrations that went on long into the night.
