News Round-Up


Welling boss Jamie Day has quit the club in favour of dropping down to cash rich Conf South side Ebbsfleet. Day, one of the longest serving managers in the country, replaces Steve Brown. Lincoln have confirmed caretaker boss Chris Moyses as their new permanent manager. Moyses, who is a Director at the club, has agreed a 12 month rolling deal and will be assisted by Grant Brown.

Aldershot have agreed an extension to their deal to host Chelsea Academy matches at the Rec. The deal, which helped them escape Administration 18 months ago, will now stretch into a third season. Former Bull Marcus Palmer has agreed a permanent switch to Westfields after a two month loan spell.

Chester's FA Cup replay with Barnsley has been made all-ticket after their ground had it's capacity cut unexpectedly following a Council inspection, with the club blaming a lack of maintenance to the stadium prior to their resurrection. A reduced 4,168 tickets will be available for the game after Chester held the League One side to a goalless draw in the original game, with the replay also being shown live on TV.
