News Round-Up

Kidderminster boss Gary Whild says the club will have to offload striker Michael Gash as they can no longer afford him. The former York and Cambridge man could leave the club before the end of the week with Whild telling the press: "We can't afford the likes of Michael Gash, so we need to look to get him out somewhere and get him fixed up. The main thing is making sure the lads who are here are getting paid."

Bury have denied that the club are liable for a £1million loan that is liable for £100,000 a month in interest. Chairman Stewart Day says the loan is personally guaranteed by him and will be cleared in the next few weeks, adding that he took the loan to enable the club to 'create third party income'. Press reports claimed the loan was secured on the club's ground.

Former Bull Dan Hanford has signed a new contract at Carlisle. The 23 year old debuted for the Cumbrians when their first choice keeper picked up an injury, and has been ever present ever since. Former Bulls loanee Lewis Young has been put on the transfer list by Crawley Town after a string of poor results for the League One side. Young, 25, has made 17 appearances for the Red Devils this term after signing in the summer.

Northwich Victoria have confirmed they are the subject of legal action from HMRC over a tax dispute. The matter is set to be heard in Court on November 24th, with the club saying they will settle the matter beforehand. The Vics, who play 16 miles away from their former home, saw much of their fanbase depart when they formed their own club over a long running dispute with owner Jim Rushe.
