Hereford United face a crunch 2pm meeting with Herefordshire Council and the emergency services to determine whether Edgar Street is fit to host a crowd this Saturday.
With 'safety advisors' only appointed at Midnight on Monday, according to interim CEO Joel Nathan, there would have been minimal time to rectify a string of issues identified with the stadium.
While people were busy yesterday clearing rubbish from behind the Blackfriars End, any Safety Officer appointment would need to have substantial knowledge of the stadium - and complete the relevant safety documentation.
With such a short space of time to tick all the boxes, it will be touch and go whether Saturday's game goes ahead at all.
