Hereford United & Worcester City supporters unite this Sunday with a friendly match hosted by Malvern Town FC - 2pm Kick Off. There will be plenty going before the game including the chance to win a Morgan Car for the Day donated by Morgan Cars.

Malvern Town FC which has recently become a Community Interest Company (CIC) has undergone major changes in the past few months including a new pitch and was quick to answer the request from Hereford United Supporters Trust & Worcester City FC Supporters Trust.

The Hereford United XI contains several former favourites including: Tony James, Rob Purdie, David Titterton, Matt Clarke, Alex Jeannin, Peter Heritage, Scott Goodwin, Steve Guinan, John Snape, Jamie Edge and Callum Brennan along with 8 supporters who played in the Ledbury game and media man Jamie Griffiths will all be pulling on the Fans Team shirt during the match.

Rob Purdie will be player/manager, with Joel Edwards assisting him, Jonny Evans as Physio and Roger Lloyd continuing his Kit Man role. Mascots are Jamie Griffiths’ children and Thomas Niblett, son of photographer Steve.

Worcester City FC XI will be under the watchful eye of former Manager George Rooney, who will be looking to continue his form after last years 2-1 win over Liverpool Legends at St Georges Lane.

The City squad includes:
City Manager & City Legend Carl Heeley
City Assistant Manager Matt Gardiner
ex City Keeper & AFC Liverpool Manager Paul Moore
City Academy Manager and one of City's leading all time Scorers Mark Owen
Former local favourites Steve Lutz, Wes Joyce, Marc Burrow & Quentin Townsend will also be playing
From the City Academy rising stars Jamie Smith, James Lemon and Dean Waldron will be providing the engine room and Lee Hooper will be joining the Team as a guest from Malvern Town FC.

Fans added to the squad are James Padden, Rich Gardiner, Liam Orchard and Lee Brighton and the City Mascots for the day will be Leigh & Bransford Badgers Football Club.

Entry to the game will be by donation with fans being able to donate to either / both Supporters Trusts.
