HUST Members Have Made Their Feelings About Agombar 'Crystal Clear'

Martin Watson has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that 95% of HUST supporters who voted in a poll to boycott Hereford United have agreed with the proposal.

"It's crystal clear what the feelings of the membership are," said Watson who is vice-chairman of HUST.

"Tommy Agombar has only been in charge six weeks and 95% of our members are deeply unhappy with him. Something has gone very wrong in those six weeks.

"We will be urging our members not to attend home games, not to take up sponsorship, advertising or any involvement in activities that benefit the football club.

"Agombar has made repeated promises to settle the debts, told us he has plenty of money to meet these demands but he has consistantly refused to do so.

"Agombar has consistantly said he is a football man, but why should the Supporters Trust back him when he hasn't done what he said he was going to do.

"Lee Symonds the club secretary left yesterday that leaves no full time member of staff still employed by the club who was here when Agombar arrived.

"The staff have walked out of their own accord.

"There's a stadium they can't even play in, they haven't got a groundsman, they haven't got a safety officer, there's no club secretary to forefill the duties in terms of applying for fixtures, signing players etc."
