Hereford United have issued a statement confirming Sunday's game at Leek Town has been cancelled.
This from the official site:
Our latest friendly has been cancelled due to concerns with the situation at Hereford United. Clubs are being contacted by a group of fans voicing their opinions; we understand their worries and are trying to resolve the issues that have been inherited by our new owner Tommy Agombar. We are working tirelessly to keep the club moving forward and playing football.
The team is full of young trialists all waiting for their chance to prove their abilities on the field. Once the players’ contracts are in place we will publish more information on each of them, the friendly was arranged to show the fans what we have been developing at the club over the last few weeks.
Hereford United has been and will remain to be big supporters of football in our community. The club is aware another team is being developed by Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST); and our views remain that the most important thing is the football and the joy it brings to fans.
