Former Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has spoken about being appointed as the new man in charge at Southport.
“I’m delighted to have been given this job and seeing where we can take Southport," Foyle told the Visiter.
“I had a good chat with the chairman and he wants his football club
run properly and within a structure. I have got to build into that.
“What I’ll be looking for are young, hungry lads that are going to be committed to playing for Southport Football Club.
“I'm not one of those managers that promise the world and don't
deliver. We have got to be realistic, it is a rebuilding job, but the
club has a lot of potential."
