Chester manager Steve Burr has signed a new two year deal with the club after talks with Directors. The former Kidderminster boss will do the role on a full time basis, but the club are yet to confirm whether the playing staff will switch from part time also. Weston-Super-Mare have announced a price freeze for the coming season. The Conf South side, claimed to be operating on the lowest budget in the division, will charge £12 adult admission.

Six people were arrested following violence after Bristol Rovers' relegation to the Conference. The BBC reports that three Police officers were injured and a Police horse was punched. Four of the six arrested have been released on bail. Telford boss Liam Watson hopes to sign Southport defender Steve Akrigg. The 27 year old spent several years at the Sandgrounders under Watson, who is also on the verge of signing a winger and central defender.

Nuneaton midfielder James Armson has signed a new one year deal with the club. The 24 year old England C man has been a regular since the Boro returned to the Conference, missing just nine league games in two years.
